Why Linden? The Linden tree (Tilia spp.) is a wonderful, adaptable tree found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Variously called Lime or Basswood, many species have been used for carving, medicine, perfumes and food.
Tilias have been considered sacred in much of Europe and are national emblems for many Eastern Europeans. Lime trees were often mentioned in ancient Greek writings.
The word Linden also phonetically combines parts of both Lynn’s and her daughter’s names. Linden became a beautiful and logical choice for the name of this firm.
